Through the use of materials from distinctly different sources I make succinct yet subjective statements that reference the dichotomies that exist in our world and within ourselves. By juxtaposing these materials I find bittersweet contradictions concerning the fragility of our world, our precarious position in the world and in turn within ourselves.

Ultimately I seek to unveil natural beauty, to expose the private self and reveal the link between the internal and external landscape whilst translating my own inner emotions into the work with sensitivity and conviction.
