I have been very fortunate to always have a great studio. Before I moved out of the city my studio was with the Burns Visual Arts Society. I was there for 4 years and shared creative energy with 18 other artists.
Now that I have the space and live too far to commute, my studio occupies an upstairs room in my home. It is approximately 350 sq ft and has an enclosed deck that serves as my saw room and provides some great natural light.
My office studio not only serves as my art admin area but also where I design websites for artists at artbiz.ca.
Best thing about both…short commute.
